HR Business Partner – People Operations

About the role

As a People Partner within Telstra Health’s People Operations team, you will work closely with business leaders to translate people priorities into actionable plans that support the delivery of digital healthcare solutions. Reporting to a Senior People Partner and collaborating with a People Advisor, you will provide commercially‑sound advice on a range of HR matters while helping to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to align people initiatives with business objectives and team goals.
• Assist senior partners in portfolio planning, workforce planning and organisational change.
• Provide practical advice on performance, conduct, grievances, investigations, WorkCover and medical management.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to Workplace Relations and Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
• Support case management and ensure strong governance across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with People Advisors and specialist teams to deliver consistent, timely HR services.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a people partner in a complex or matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Workplace Relations and/or Health, Safety & Wellbeing, including handling complex cases.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, build trusted relationships and provide commercially‑sound advice.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Health & Safety or a related field.
