About the role

Infosys Australia is seeking a hands‑on HR Business Partner – Generalist to join its Melbourne team. The role will support employees across Australia, partnering with business leaders to align people strategies with organisational goals while contributing to a range of HR projects.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic HR partner, understanding business objectives and designing HR initiatives that drive commercial impact.
• Lead the performance‑management cycle, including goal setting, reviews and feedback.
• Drive employee‑engagement programmes, analyse survey data and implement action plans to enhance workplace culture.
• Support compensation and benefits planning, ensuring strategies reflect business needs and regional nuances.
• Provide advice on strategic people solutions and champion key HR initiatives.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in HR Business Partnering or generalist HR roles.
• Proven ability to align HR strategies with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of performance management, employee engagement and compensation frameworks.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
