About the role

The Great Aussie Bush Camp is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant to help keep its centre clean and welcoming for students, teachers and visitors. This is a hands-on, casual role where you work independently and alongside a friendly team, from first impressions to final clean-ups.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare guest and teacher accommodation
  • Make beds, vacuum, sweep, dust and sanitise spaces
  • Maintain bathrooms, amenities and shared facilities
  • Support laundry tasks and linen care
  • Safely use and store cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Follow hygiene, safety and child-safe practices
  • Pitch in where needed to support the wider team

Required profile

  • Experience in housekeeping or cleaning (great, but not essential)
  • Positive attitude and pride in high standards of cleanliness
  • Reliability, punctuality and good time management
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
  • Legal right to work in Australia
  • Current (or willingness to obtain) Working with Children Check
  • Commitment to WHS, hygiene and child-safe policies, including a Child Safe Commitment
