Housekeeper – Guest Accommodations

About the role

As a Housekeeper at Discovery Parks Rockhampton, you will ensure that guest cabins, powered sites and communal areas are spotless and welcoming. You will work as part of a dedicated team that upholds the high standards expected by G’day Group’s guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest accommodations to the highest standard.
• Maintain cleanliness of communal areas, including lounges, bathrooms and outdoor facilities.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
• Follow health, safety and chemical handling procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a housekeeping role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Excellent time‑management skills.
• Flexibility to work a 7‑day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Current valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Operating cleaning equipment and machinery.
