House Leader

About the role

Parade College, a historic Catholic school in Bundoora, is seeking a dedicated House Leader to oversee the wellbeing, safety and pastoral care of students within a house. The role combines spiritual leadership, academic support and community building in line with the Edmund Rice tradition.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the spiritual and social‑justice activities of the house, fostering a supportive community.
• Ensure the safety, protection and wellbeing of all house members, adhering to college policies.
• Monitor academic progress and provide guidance to students, coordinating with teachers and support staff.
• Promote and model college policies, procedures and best teaching practices.
• Collaborate with other House Leaders to create a cohesive house system across the campus.

Required profile

• Qualified and highly motivated educator with a passion for Catholic education.
• Strong organisational abilities and a commitment to student safety and pastoral care.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within a school or similar community setting.
• Alignment with the Edmund Rice tradition and the college’s values.
