Hotel Manager - ibis Budget Gosford

About the role

The ibis budget Gosford, a 78-room budget hotel on the Central Coast, is looking for a Hotel Manager to lead all aspects of the hotel's operations, from guest experience to commercial performance. The role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations NSW & ACT, with support from the regional Accor team, and is a live-in position with accommodation provided in a self-contained one-bedroom apartment on site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall management and strategic direction of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence and strong commercial performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with hotel owners, guests, suppliers, local businesses and the Accor network.
• Drive long-term profitability by maximising revenue, managing costs and applying yield and pricing strategies.
• Review operational and financial performance across departments and identify improvements in productivity, service quality and efficiency.
• Develop, inspire and lead a high-performing team, promoting Accor's Heartist values, employee engagement and accountability.
• Maintain guest-centric service standards and champion guest experience improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience as Front Office Manager or above.
• Ability to think strategically and give direction to build market performance and business outcomes.
• Strong ability to develop, lead and motivate a team of experienced professionals.
• A strong focus on customer service and passion for guest experiences.
• Full Australian working rights, or an eligible regional visa; the position is in a regional postcode and may help visa holders meet regional living and working conditions.
