Hospitality Services Educator

About the role

The Hospitality Services Educator joins Eldercare’s Learning and Development team to design, deliver and evaluate hospitality training across the organisation. You will ensure staff have the knowledge and skills to provide high‑quality hospitality services that meet the Aged Care Quality Standards and Eldercare’s Model of Care.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver hospitality education and training in a variety of settings, including face‑to‑face, toolbox and hands‑on sessions.
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify capability gaps and create targeted programmes.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for hospitality standards, integrating best practice and regulatory updates.
• Develop, review and continuously improve training materials and e‑learning packages.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure programmes reflect evidence‑based practice.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and support to hospitality staff to enhance capability and service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality training and education, preferably within aged care or healthcare.
• Tertiary qualifications in hospitality, healthcare or education.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to undertake).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training in a health or aged‑care setting.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
