Hospitality Employee - Illawarra

About the role

IRT, a community-owned provider of independent living, aged care and home care, is looking for Hospitality Employees to join its team in the Illawarra. The role contributes to a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and their families, with meals served with care, dining areas kept clean and the overall well-being of residents supported. Multiple permanent part-time positions are available, and the employer will work with each candidate's availability.

Key responsibilities

• Work with catering staff to assist with basic meal preparation
• Deliver and serve meals to residents
• Interact with residents and build meaningful relationships
• Follow strict food safety guidelines
• Help with domestic duties such as cleaning general areas

Required profile

• Experience delivering hospitality (desirable)
• An empathetic approach and strong customer service skills
• Experience in a similar role in a health or aged care setting (desirable)

Required skills

• Food Safety Supervision Certification (desirable)
