Hospital Orderly

About the role

St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside is looking for a Hospital Orderly to join its team. You will be a responsive, flexible team member who contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction in a safe working environment. The position is casual, with a 24-hour roster covering day, evening and night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient orderly services to patients, staff and customers while following facility processes
• Apply contemporary infection control standards and practices
• Apply safe practices such as manual handling and hazard identification

Required profile

• Ability to work casually and flexibly across a 24-hour roster, including day, evening and night shifts
• Demonstrated application of infection control and safe work practices
• Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
• Proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases, as required by workplace health and safety obligations
