About the role

Specsavers is seeking a qualified Domiciliary Optometrist to deliver high‑standard eye care to patients who cannot attend a store. You will travel across some of Scotland’s most picturesque locations, providing personalised clinical services in patients’ homes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses on‑site.
• Deliver patient‑focused advice and education about eye health.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with GOC standards.
• Travel safely to assigned areas each day, covering locations such as Fife, St Andrews, Dundee, Arbroath, Blairgowrie, Forfar and Perth.

Required profile

• Qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Strong work ethic and customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to go the extra mile, both literally and figuratively.
