About the role
SVCS, a not-for-profit Catholic provider of aged care services in Australia, is seeking additional Home Carers to join its team in Brisbane's southern suburbs. You will provide home care support to community clients in a casual position.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, such as showering, hygiene and grooming
- Provide in-home respite care
- Assist with daily living activities
- Maintain high standards of care at all times
- Take part in SVCS's Social Support Program
Required profile
- Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification
- Previous experience in a similar home care support position
- Enthusiasm and commitment to helping and supporting others
- Understanding of aged care and resident rights and responsibilities
- Current unrestricted driver's licence and own vehicle
- Willingness to obtain a National Criminal History Check
