Head of Customer Platform (Salesforce)

About the role

The Head of Customer Platform (Salesforce) will steer the strategy, governance and evolution of Bunnings' customer technology ecosystem. Reporting to the General Manager, Customer and Sales, you will own the Salesforce landscape—including CRM, Service Cloud, Data Cloud and Loyalty—while partnering with Customer, Marketing, Digital and Technology leaders to deliver customer‑focused outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Customer Platforms strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Own and optimise the Salesforce ecosystem and broader customer technology stack.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to prioritise investments, manage demand and drive customer outcomes.
• Lead platform governance, architecture, security, reliability and operational performance.
• Manage vendor partnerships, commercial negotiations and an $18M technology budget.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high‑performing team of 25 engineering and delivery professionals.
• Drive innovation, platform modernisation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Deep expertise across Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud, Data Cloud and Loyalty solutions.
• Proven leadership of large technology, engineering or platform teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with significant budget and vendor management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
• Experience delivering customer‑centric technology solutions in complex enterprise environments.
