About the role

The Narrabeen Sands Hotel, an iconic waterfront pub on Ocean Street overlooking Narrabeen Beach since 1907, is looking for a Head Chef to lead its kitchen. The hotel offers multiple dining areas, a Sport Lounge and accommodation and function facilities, and sits in the heart of the Northern Beaches.

Key responsibilities

Run the kitchen smoothly, safely and profitably
Work closely with the Publican and the Front of House team
Build and develop a high-performing kitchen team
Keep the link between kitchen and front of house strong, with good food every shift

Required profile

Trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications
Experience, confidence and pride in owning the kitchen
Ability to handle and lift stock, kegs and deliveries safely and efficiently
