About the role

We’re searching for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at the Victoria Hotel, a popular venue in Southern Adelaide known for its steaks and vibrant community atmosphere. The role involves overseeing a busy kitchen that serves a variety of meals for both casual diners and function guests.

Key responsibilities

• Command the kitchen, ensuring smooth, safe, and profitable operations.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing kitchen team while collaborating closely with the publican and front‑of‑house staff.
• Maintain strong communication between kitchen and front‑of‑house to deliver consistent quality and service each shift.

Required profile

• Trade cooking qualifications and current food safety certifications.
• Experience in leading a kitchen team and delivering high‑quality dishes.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting stock and deliveries.
