Head Chef at Greenwood Tavern

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Greenwood Tavern, a beloved local pub north of Perth’s CBD. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, locally sourced dishes while creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Command the kitchen operations, ensuring smooth, safe, and profitable service.
• Collaborate closely with the publican and front‑of‑house team as a core member of the leadership crew.
• Develop and mentor a high‑performing kitchen team, fostering creativity and consistency.
• Maintain strong communication between kitchen and front‑of‑house to ensure seamless service each shift.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leader in a hospitality setting.
• Relevant trade cooking qualifications and current food safety certifications.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including moving stock, kegs, and deliveries.
