Head Chef - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health is recruiting a Head Chef for its aged-care facility in Melton South. You will deliver exceptional service to residents so that their meal experience meets the highest standard, working within a busy, diverse and challenging role.

Key responsibilities

• Join a team of food creators focused on excellent food and nutrition tailored to individual and diverse needs.
• Create a warm, welcoming environment where residents enjoy meals together.
• Prepare nutritious, healthy meals that bring delight to residents.
• Prepare and deliver food to the highest quality and service standards in line with Estia Health guidelines.
• Train and mentor the kitchen team to the expected standards.

Required profile

• Passion for creating nutritious, healthy and delicious food.
• Attention to food handling and hygiene standards.
• Ability to adapt menus to the diverse needs of individuals.
• Team player who takes pride in the work.
