Head Chef, Aged Care Facility

About the role

Estia Health is looking for a Head Chef for its Chirnside Park facility in Victoria. This is a Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 role focused on delivering exceptional service to residents so that their meal experience meets the highest standard. The work is described as busy, diverse and challenging.

Key responsibilities

• Create nutritious and healthy meals that meet the individual and diverse needs of residents
• Prepare and deliver food to the highest quality and service standards in line with Estia Health guidelines
• Train and mentor the kitchen team to the expected standards
• Contribute to a warm, welcoming environment where residents enjoy meals together

Required profile

• Passion for creating nutritious, healthy and delicious food
• Attention to food handling and hygiene standards
• Ability to adapt menus to the diverse needs of individuals
• Team player who takes pride in the quality of food prepared and served
