Guest Services Officer – Punthill Sunshine

About the role

Join the Punthill Sunshine team as a Guest Services Officer, delivering high‑quality service to guests and creating memorable experiences in a vibrant, locally‑focused hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a high level of guest service at all touchpoints, including check‑in, check‑out and during the stay.
• Resolve guest complaints creatively and professionally.
• Act as a local host, offering knowledgeable recommendations about the area.
• Respond to emergency situations safely and efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to increase repeat and new guest bookings.
• Support the Hotel Manager in maintaining Veri‑Best standards.

Required profile

• Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or visa with work rights).
• First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain before start).
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (or ability to obtain before start).
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays (no overnight shifts).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a customer‑service role.
