Guest Service Agent – Full‑Time Front Office Role

About the role

Guest Service Agents are the face of the hotel, welcoming guests, handling check‑ins and check‑outs, managing the switchboard and responding to guest requests. They ensure smooth front‑office operations and deliver an outstanding experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins and check‑outs, confirm reservations, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit and credit cards, following accounting procedures.
• Answer and record guest calls, messages and requests, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments.
• Provide guests with information about the property, local attractions and parking procedures.
• Run daily arrival/departure reports, manage cashier duties and balance receipts at shift start and end.

Required profile

• Currently studying or completed a hospitality‑related course (preferred).
• Previous experience in front‑office operations or customer service.
• Availability for shift work on a rotating roster.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Office; Opera PMS experience is a plus.
