Guest Service Agent – Front Office & Night Audit

About the role

Join the Front Office team at Holiday Inn Sydney St Marys as a Guest Service Agent, handling both front‑desk duties and Night Audit responsibilities. You will work on a rotating roster that includes mornings, afternoons, weekends and occasional overnight shifts, ensuring smooth operations from guest arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Perform guest check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently.
• Manage reservations, enquiries and special guest requests.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all guest interactions.
• Assist with Night Audit procedures, including daily reporting and end‑of‑day reconciliations.
• Reconcile transactions, balance accounts and support financial accuracy.
• Uphold hotel safety and security protocols.
• Collaborate with hotel and Club operations teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel front office or guest service.
• Night Audit experience is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with IHG systems or other leading hotel brands preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Positive, professional approach to guest service.
• Current RSA certification or willingness to obtain.
• Flexibility to work a roster that includes weekends and occasional overnight shifts.
