About the role

Join Travel + Leisure Co. in beautiful Port Douglas as a Guest Experience Host who also drives face‑to‑face lead generation. You will be the first point of contact for owners and guests, delivering exceptional service while creating sales appointments for our resort sales centres.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and register owners and guests, providing local attraction information.
• Complete all department paperwork and use communication equipment (phones, fax, computers).
• Assist in the tour generation process, ensuring prospects meet qualification criteria.
• Meet guests in person, generate sales appointments, and conduct livestream sessions.
• Build rapport with customers to ensure a memorable experience.
• Collaborate with resort operations to ensure seamless check‑in transitions.
• Clearly articulate the benefits of traveling within the Travel + Leisure community.
• Achieve targets and KPIs set by the business, including weekend and public‑holiday shifts.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar hotel or hospitality position.
• Genuine passion for customer service and knowledge of the local area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and positive attitude.
• Immaculate presentation and professional grooming standards.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• High level of computer literacy.
• Experience with Property Management Systems (e.g., Hirum, Fidelio, Opera) – advantageous.
