Guest Arrival Captain

About the role

The Guest Arrival Captain is the first point of contact for guests at The Ritz-Carlton, Perth, delivering a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless arrival experience. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the hotel's commitment to exceptional service and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and visitors, escort them to rooms, and provide information on hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Manage the hotel driveway, oversee parking, and coordinate with the porter/valet team for luggage assistance.
• Transport luggage to and from guest rooms or designated bell areas, and assist with storage and retrieval.
• Assist guests in and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading luggage.
• Provide directions, arrange transportation, and record advance transportation requests.
• Communicate parking procedures and ensure smooth traffic flow on the property.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Experience in a customer‑facing role is preferred.
• Unrestricted right to work in Australia.

Required skills

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
• I’m Alert Food Safety certification (City of Perth).
