Guest Arrival Captain – Front Desk & Guest Services

About the role

The Guest Arrival Captain is the first point of contact for guests at The Ritz-Carlton, Perth, delivering a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless arrival experience. This role supports the hotel's commitment to exceptional service and helps build lasting guest relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their rooms, providing information on hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Open doors, assist with entry and exit, and manage movement on the hotel driveway.
• Delegate parking and luggage assistance to the porter/valet team.
• Transport guest luggage to and from rooms or designated bell areas, and handle storage and retrieval.
• Assist guests with vehicle entry and exit, including loading and unloading luggage.
• Provide directions, arrange transportation, and record advance transportation requests.
• Communicate parking procedures and other arrival-related information to guests.

Required profile

• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification from a nationally accredited provider.
• I’m Alert Food Safety Certification (City of Perth).
• Previous experience in a customer‑service role is preferred.
• Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Unrestricted working rights for Australia.
