GTM Partnerships Manager – Australia SME & Growth

About the role

Airwallex is seeking a strategic, data‑driven Partnerships Manager to join its ANZ team. You will help build and expand partner relationships across key industries such as accounting, virtual CFOs, business advisory, VC‑backed startups and e‑commerce agencies, driving brand awareness and customer acquisition in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow an existing portfolio of partner relationships, including ambassadors and strategic partners.
• Manage the full partnership lifecycle: prospecting, meetings, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing enablement.
• Implement strategies to keep partners active, increase referral volume and maximize commercial impact.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (sales, legal, strategy, operations, finance) to deliver a seamless partner experience.
• Continuously ideate and test new go‑to‑market initiatives to scale the partner network.

Required profile

• 3‑8 years of experience in partnership, business development or software sales, preferably in tech channel sales.
• Strong network or relationships with referral partners in the accounting or finance sectors.
• Results‑driven, accountable and comfortable presenting in person.
• Creative, proactive self‑starter able to identify and execute new partnership opportunities.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast‑paced, hyper‑growth environment.

Required skills

• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Experience managing partner portfolios and keeping partners engaged.
