Group Tax Manager

About the role

As Group Tax Manager you will lead Megaport’s global tax function and sit on the Finance leadership team. You will shape international tax strategy, planning and compliance across more than 26 countries, supporting business growth while optimising the company’s tax position.

Key responsibilities

• Drive technical tax planning to optimise the Group’s global tax position and provide insights for tax efficiency.
• Monitor and manage ROI on external tax advisers in each jurisdiction.
• Represent Tax in senior Finance leadership forums, communicating with the CFO, external auditors and advisors.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects such as transfer‑pricing reviews, indirect‑tax automation and global compliance initiatives.
• Support and expand Transfer Pricing compliance, ensuring intercompany arrangements are documented per TP agreements.
• Oversee timely filing of tax returns and other statutory compliance requirements worldwide.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in international tax, transfer pricing and indirect tax.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience leading a global tax function or similar senior tax role.
• Disciplined approach to process governance and worldwide compliance.
