Group Intercompany Accountant

About the role

Chrysos is seeking a Group Intercompany Accountant to support its rapid global expansion. Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager, you will ensure accurate processing, reconciliation and reporting of intercompany transactions across a 12‑country entity structure.

Key responsibilities

• Process and maintain intercompany charges, cost and revenue allocations across all entities.
• Prepare and post month‑end intercompany elimination journals and ensure completeness in consolidated accounts.
• Manage intercompany loan balances, calculate interest, and reconcile ageing schedules.
• Perform month‑end reconciliations, investigate variances and support the group consolidation process.
• Maintain intercompany agreements, ensure transactions align with legal entity flows and transfer‑pricing guidance.
• Handle multi‑currency implications, foreign‑exchange translation and revaluation adjustments.
• Drive continuous improvement of intercompany processes and ERP enhancements in NetSuite.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CA, CPA or equivalent certification (or working towards).
• 3–5 years of intercompany accounting experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of intercompany elimination, group consolidation and IFRS/AASB standards.
• Familiarity with transfer‑pricing concepts and statutory audit requirements across jurisdictions.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
