About the role
This role is for an experienced Financial Controller in a fast‑growing private‑equity backed startup. The position sits in a central business district office with generous work‑from‑home flexibility and reports directly to the CFO.
Key responsibilities
- Manage financial accounting and shared services functions, ensuring accurate GL accounting.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to the CFO and broader business units.
- Oversee all financial reporting, including month‑end and year‑end close.
- Lead a high‑performance finance team, fostering collaboration and development.
- Participate in projects focused on cash management, team‑structure optimisation and strengthening internal controls.
- Contribute to financial planning and analysis (FPA) and commercial finance activities.
Required profile
- CA or CPA qualification is essential.
- Proven experience in a scale‑up or high‑growth organisation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
