Group Financial Controller

About the role

Treasure Wine Estates is seeking an experienced, commercially‑minded Group Financial Controller to lead its global financial reporting, statutory compliance and governance. Reporting to the CFO and based in Melbourne, the role is pivotal in delivering high‑quality, timely financial information across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Group financial close and consolidation, ensuring accuracy, integrity and timeliness.
• Own general ledger processes, foreign‑exchange handling, validation controls and reporting completeness for all regions.
• Prepare and deliver half‑year and full‑year statutory reports in line with IFRS, ASX and other regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on complex accounting matters, significant transactions and policy development.
• Develop and maintain a robust global financial control framework, overseeing internal controls, audit engagements and risk management.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualification with substantial post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in a financial control role within an ASX‑listed company or Big‑4 advisory to such clients.
• Deep expertise in IFRS and listed‑company reporting environments.
• Strong leadership in financial reporting, governance, audit and controls.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
