Grounds and Maintenance Attendant

About the role

NRMA Parks & Resorts is looking for a hands-on Grounds & Maintenance Attendant for its Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Resort on the NSW South Coast. The role suits someone who enjoys working outdoors, fixing things and keeping grounds and gardens looking their best, with a mix of garden care, general maintenance and guest support.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the resort's grounds and gardens
• Carry out general maintenance and repairs across guest accommodation, amenities and resort facilities
• Assist with painting, basic repairs and general handyperson tasks
• Help with larger maintenance projects and renovations when required
• Safely use a variety of tools and equipment
• Assist guests with maintenance-related requests and help keep the resort safe, tidy and welcoming

Required profile

• Previous experience in grounds, property maintenance, facilities, landscaping or a hands-on trade environment
• Good time management, an eye for detail and a practical approach to problem solving
• A positive, hardworking and self-motivated attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safe working practices and great customer service skills
• Trade experience in electrical or plumbing and pool maintenance is highly regarded

Required skills

• Confidence using hand and power tools
• Basic painting and handyperson tasks
