Graduate/Associate Application Developer – Microsoft Cloud

About the role

Join IBM Consulting as a Graduate/Associate Application Developer, working on Microsoft Cloud solutions for a diverse range of global clients. You will co‑create innovative applications, leveraging AI and cloud technologies, while developing your technical expertise in a supportive, mentorship‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support high‑quality, scalable applications and interfaces across the full system architecture.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical specifications for generative AI projects and implement design‑thinking principles.
• Work with relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB) and modern UI frameworks (Angular, React, Backbone.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, jQuery).
• Maintain and improve code quality, version control using Git, and automate development processes.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated programming proficiency in at least one language such as Java, C++, Python, Scala, or JavaScript frameworks.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
