Graduate Teacher – WA Public Schools

About the role

We are seeking graduate teachers to join Western Australian public schools. The position is open to candidates who have completed or are completing a qualification in early childhood, primary or secondary education and are in the first two years of teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the approved curriculum to students in early childhood, primary or secondary settings.
• Participate in school activities and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Work under the guidance of experienced mentors and school leadership.

Required profile

• Qualification in early childhood, primary or secondary education (completed or final year of study).
• In the first two years of teaching or completing final year of study.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a temporary visa that permits work without employer sponsorship.
• Evidence of current WA teacher registration or an acknowledgement of application from the Teacher Registration Board of WA.
• Academic transcripts, up‑to‑date CV, identification documents and two professional referees.
