Graduate Radiographer – Full‑time

About the role

Macquarie University Health is seeking a full‑time graduate radiographer to join its integrated medical imaging team on the Wallumattagal Campus. You will work in a teaching and research environment, gaining hands‑on experience in general X‑ray and theatre imaging while having the opportunity to up‑skill in additional modalities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X‑ray and theatre imaging examinations in line with clinical protocols, producing high‑quality images.
• Support patients throughout procedures, answer questions, and refer them to appropriate information sources.
• Escalate urgent findings to radiologists or senior medical staff promptly.
• Adhere to radiation protection standards (ALARA), EPA licensing requirements and patient confidentiality.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and help develop clinical protocols.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner.
• Qualified or near‑qualified in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography).
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic clinical setting.
• Proactive, self‑motivated learner willing to engage in up‑skilling programs.
