Graduate Radiographer – 12‑Month Structured Program

About the role

The I-MED Graduate Program is a 12‑month, purpose‑built pathway for newly qualified radiographers. You will rotate through our Hervey Bay or Bundaberg sites, gaining hands‑on experience across multiple imaging modalities while receiving structured support and regular check‑ins.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X‑ray, theatre, mobile units and CT under supervision until competency is assessed.
• Build clinical and technical capability through a formal learning and development curriculum.
• Collaborate with fellow graduates and senior clinicians via the Graduate Program Channel for case discussions and shared learning.
• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care and maintain professional relationships with patients, referrers and multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a radiography qualification.
• Willingness to work in a regional location (Hervey Bay or Bundaberg) and engage in a structured development program.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency in X‑ray imaging.
• Experience with theatre imaging procedures.
• Operation of mobile imaging equipment.
• CT scanning competency.
