Graduate Physiotherapist

About the role

Lifecare Physiotherapy, part of APM, is recruiting upcoming or recent graduate physiotherapists for its graduate program in Murdoch, Western Australia. The position is full time but part time is also possible, and it may include access to the Inpatient Wards at SJOG Hospital Murdoch. You will receive on-the-job support, including buddy days with other therapists and supervision by clinical leaders, plus regular professional development and career planning sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose musculoskeletal and/or sporting injuries
• Create and implement treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Provide manual therapy, exercise prescription, education and other modalities according to the treatment plan
• Run group exercise classes
• Work with Allied Health Professionals to deliver holistic care
• Communicate with general practitioners and referrers
• Prepare treatment management plans and reports for stakeholders, including third-party payers

Required profile

• AHPRA registration
• Graduated within the last 12 months or graduating within the next 6 months
• Interest in musculoskeletal and/or sports physiotherapy
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History check after a successful application
