Graduate Engineer/Scientist – Water Resources (Feb 2027)

About the role

Join Surbana Jurong’s two‑year Graduate Development Program as a Graduate Engineer/Scientist in Water Resources. You will work on real infrastructure projects from day one, gaining hands‑on experience in flood studies, modelling and technical analysis while being mentored by senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of water resources projects, including flood studies and assessments.
• Analyse data and evaluate flood mitigation options for infrastructure and communities.
• Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic modelling using industry‑standard tools.
• Prepare technical analysis by working with project data, model outputs and engineering inputs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated delivery of modelling, design and reporting activities.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in problem‑solving, teamwork and real‑world project delivery.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical capabilities in water resources engineering.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modelling software such as TUFLOW, HEC‑RAS and Source.
• Exposure to stormwater design or modelling tools like 12D or Drains.
