Graduate Electrical Engineer - Resources and Industrial

About the role

AECOM's Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EI&C) team in Brisbane is looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join its Resources and Industry business. You will work alongside experienced engineers on major mining, heavy industry and resources projects, with exposure to electrical power systems, instrumentation, control systems, communications and emerging technologies. The role is supported by structured learning, technical training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of electrical and instrumentation engineering projects across mining, industrial and transport sectors
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications, drawings and other project documentation
• Collaborate with mechanical, civil, structural and process engineers on project outcomes
• Take part in site visits, inspections and commissioning
• Contribute to project planning, coordination and technical tasks, and take part in project meetings and learning opportunities

Required profile

• Final-year or completed Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering
• Full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand; student and graduate visa holders are not accepted
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, proactive and adaptable mindset, and commitment to professionalism and integrity
