Golf Operations Professional

About the role

Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club, a member-owned club on the Central Coast of New South Wales, is looking for a part-time Golf Operations Professional (about 30 hours per week, days and times negotiable). Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, you will help deliver service to members, guests and corporate clients across golf operations, competitions, retail, bookings and events, and may also deliver coaching, clinics and lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Golf operations: daily operations, tee sheet management, course utilisation and marshalling, prize allocation and reporting
• Retail management: process sales, maintain product knowledge, stock control, merchandising and administration
• Bookings and activities: manage bookings for golf, lessons, clinics, the Indoor Golf Studio and related activities
• Golf cart operations and outside services: prepare and present the golf cart fleet, food and beverage cart and related services
• Member engagement: deliver exceptional service to members, guests and visitors

Required profile

• Qualification in Golf Management, Retail or equivalent, or PGA of Australia membership, or a PGA Associate working towards membership
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with a commitment to service excellence
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence with retail transactions, cash handling and administrative work
• Flexible, collaborative and able to work independently or in a team, managing competing priorities in a busy environment
• A passion for golf

• Highly desirable: MiClub and MiMembership software for golf operations and tee sheet management
• Highly desirable: SENPOS point of sale systems
• Highly desirable: Range Manager and Visage software
