Global Onsite Lab Project Manager

About the role

The Global Onsite Lab Project Manager will lead the financial modelling, proposal development and execution of new and existing onsite laboratory projects for SGS, working closely with clients, regional teams and operating affiliates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and assess financial models and technical proposals for onsite laboratory opportunities.
• Coordinate design, build, renovation and expansion projects with local operating teams, ensuring equipment procurement meets global standards and schedules.
• Communicate with clients to gather requirements, respond to RFPs and negotiate contracts.

Required profile

• University degree in a science or engineering discipline, preferably geosciences (e.g., geology, mineralogy, soil science).
• Technical experience in a geosciences‑related field combined with business or personnel management experience.
• Strong knowledge of the mining and minerals industry and proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
