GitHub Architect

About the role

The GitHub Architect will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our GitHub ecosystem across enterprise and cloud environments. This senior technical role focuses on advanced version‑control strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps integrations to support high‑velocity development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage GitHub Enterprise Server and GitHub Cloud instances, including organization provisioning and API integrations.
• Develop and enforce complex branching models such as GitFlow and trunk‑based development.
• Create reusable GitHub Actions, custom runners, and secure environments for continuous integration and delivery.
• Integrate security scanners, binary repositories, and quality monitoring tools into the development workflow.
• Collaborate with cloud and container teams to deploy GitHub services on AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes platforms.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in GitHub administration, APIs, and enterprise scaling.
• Strong understanding of Git internals and advanced branching strategies.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Hands‑on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration.
• Ability to implement DevSecOps tooling and enforce security best practices.
