General Manager - Propositions (6‑month fixed term)

About the role

The General Manager – Propositions will lead the strategy and business planning for IT Outsourcing (ITO) within Datacom, shaping the value proposition and launching new products in line with the company’s direction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement ITO strategy aligned with Datacom’s overall goals.
• Identify market trends, customer needs and competitive offerings to create profitable propositions.
• Lead product proposition development, market research, and launch activities.
• Collaborate with sales, presales, technical and senior management teams to drive growth.
• Manage budgets, personnel planning and expense priorities.
• Oversee relationships with external agencies and suppliers, negotiating contracts and service levels.

Required profile

• Strong strategic background with ability to see the big picture.
• Proven experience developing and launching customer‑led propositions.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, people‑management and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
• Track record of achieving or exceeding sales and profit targets.
