General Manager – People & Culture

About the role

Trident Services Australia is seeking a senior HR executive to join its Executive Leadership Team as General Manager – People & Culture. Based at the head office in Cannon Hill, Brisbane, you will shape and deliver the People & Culture strategy that underpins business growth and operational excellence across a national workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organisation’s People & Culture strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor the People & Culture team while building capability across the organisation.
• Provide strategic advice to the Executive Leadership Team on workforce planning, organisational design, leadership and culture.
• Drive organisational change, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design workforce strategies that support business growth, contract mobilisation and operational performance.
• Lead recruitment and talent acquisition for executive, leadership and critical operational roles.
• Strengthen employee engagement, retention, succession planning and leadership development.
• Champion diversity, inclusion and employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Oversee employee and industrial relations matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior HR leader in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
• Commercially astute with a track record of influencing business outcomes through people.
• Strong knowledge of workforce planning, talent acquisition, organisational development and industrial relations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, build high‑performing teams and foster inclusive cultures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Competitive salary package of $170,000 – $200,000 per year plus superannuation.
