General Manager, PDx ANZ

About the role

The General Manager, PDx ANZ defines and executes the long-term business strategy for the PDx business across Australia and New Zealand. The role owns overall business performance, including strategic direction, financial outcomes and operational delivery through functional leaders, while sustaining and growing the current market-leading product portfolio and developing new product offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Set the vision, strategy and long-term growth plan, and define the product strategy and roadmap across Medical Imaging and Contrast Media
• Drive revenue, margin and cost management, and oversee Product Management, Sales and Marketing, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and R&D
• Build strategic account plans for priority accounts, including segmentation, executive sponsorship and long-term value creation
• Engage customers, stakeholders and opinion leaders, and monitor market trends and competitors
• Partner with local ANZ and global business leaders and champion cross-functional collaboration
• Attract, develop and retain talent, and champion diversity, equity and inclusion
• Ensure compliance with healthcare, medical device, privacy and employment laws, and uphold governance, risk and internal control systems
• Lead on health and safety under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (NZ) and equivalent Australian legislation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Significant senior leadership experience in the healthcare industry
• Demonstrated success in business management, strategy development and execution, and in leading complex, matrixed organisations
• Proven experience in strategic account management, including complex healthcare accounts and executive-level engagement
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration
