Gateway Engineer – Secure Infrastructure Networks

About the role

The Gateway Engineer will support the delivery, maintenance and continuous improvement of secure gateway and network infrastructure within a highly sensitive technical environment. Reporting to the infrastructure team, you will work on both physical and virtual platforms to ensure robust, high‑performance connectivity for critical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support network components in line with approved architectures and design standards.
• Translate logical network designs into physical implementations, ensuring capacity and performance targets are met.
• Develop and execute recovery routines, contingency procedures and alternative network designs.
• Investigate suspected attacks and assist with security incident management.
• Implement infrastructure changes, routine maintenance and automation scripts.

Required profile

• Strong infrastructure engineering experience across physical, virtual, network or cloud environments.
• Proven ability to design, install, hand over and document complex systems.
• Experience troubleshooting operational issues and supporting problem resolution.
• Current TSPV security clearance.
