Full‑time Kitchen Hand – waterfront restaurant

About the role

Join the founding team of Heirloom, a new waterfront restaurant in Taren Point, and help keep the kitchen running smoothly. This full‑time position starts in July 2026 and focuses on supporting chefs and hospitality staff during busy lunch and dinner services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised kitchen environment.
• Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, and food preparation areas.
• Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient handling.
• Store food and supplies safely in line with hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Dispose of waste correctly and keep waste areas tidy.
• Support teammates and step in wherever needed during service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food‑service role, or a willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Food Safety Certificate desirable).
• Reliable, positive attitude and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Genuine interest in food, teamwork, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
