Full‑Stack Software Engineer – Platform Team

About the role

LGT is seeking a hands‑on Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join its Platform team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will design, build and maintain shared digital capabilities that support multiple internal teams across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain platform products, internal tools and shared services.
• Build modern frontend experiences using Angular or React for developer portals, dashboards and self‑service workflows.
• Develop backend services, APIs and integration components in Java within a containerised, CI/CD‑enabled environment.
• Create reusable libraries, components and standards to improve consistency and reduce duplication.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and supportable solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, testing practices and release processes.
• Support observability, monitoring, logging and incident triage for the full stack.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and produce technical documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end full‑stack solutions in an enterprise setting.
• Comfortable working with containerised applications and API‑driven architectures.
• Strong collaboration skills with architects, product owners and other engineers.
• Ability to communicate technical risks and trade‑offs to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
