Full‑Stack Engineer (Ruby, Go, React)

About the role

You will design, implement and maintain the frontend and server‑side systems that power the artist experience on Redbubble and TeePublic. The role spans artist onboarding, content upload, moderation, payments and tax compliance, directly influencing artist acquisition and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test and deploy backend services for the artist domain, leading small‑to‑medium initiatives.
• Maintain existing services, manage technical debt and ensure robust monitoring and documentation.
• Participate in technical discussions, translate business requirements into deliverables and contribute to team ceremonies.
• Coach less‑experienced engineers on best practices and Articore values.
• Stay current with emerging tools and help shape the team’s technology roadmap.

Required profile

• 5+ years of combined backend and frontend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Ruby and/or Go.
• Strong frontend focus with solid JavaScript/TypeScript and React skills.
• Experience with microservices and/or monolith architectures.
• Demonstrated testing, code‑quality practices and ability to work end‑to‑end on features.
• Comfort debugging complex production environments.
