About the role
MSS Security is recruiting a full-time security officer for a professional mining site in Mount Isa. It is a reliever role with no set roster, so 24/7 availability is required. Local applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities
- Manage site access control, traffic management and conduct mobile patrols when required.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, radio communications and site security systems.
- Issue security passes, manage keys and control building access.
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing when required and provide professional customer service.
- Respond to incidents and complete accurate security reports.
Required profile
- Full Australian working rights.
- QLD driver licence.
- QLD security licence (unarmed).
- First aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it.
- 24/7 availability, including weekends.
