Full-Time Babies Room Leader (Diploma Trained)

About the role

Explore & Develop Artarmon is opening a brand-new, purpose-built early childhood education and care service on Dickson Avenue and is looking for a passionate, dedicated Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) to join its foundation team. As a Diploma Room Leader, you will help shape a warm, inclusive and inspiring learning environment that reflects your teaching philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a high-quality, play-based curriculum
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Support children's learning, wellbeing and development in line with the EYLF
• Collaborate with a professional team of educators
• Contribute to the planning cycle, documentation and critical reflection
• Help establish a positive, inclusive culture from the ground up

Required profile

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
• Current WWCC, First Aid, Child Protection and CPR certification
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and best practices in early education
• Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills
• Passion for intentional teaching and inquiry-based learning
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
