Full-time Apparel Sales Assistant

About the role

JD Sports is looking for an energetic and customer‑focused Apparel Sales Assistant to join its Wetherill Park store. This full‑time, on‑site position works Tuesday to Saturday with varying shift times, providing a memorable shopping experience for sport and fashion enthusiasts.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date product knowledge to advise customers.
• Deliver personalised 1:1 customer service and process sales transactions.
• Collaborate with management and the wider store team to meet KPIs and sales targets.
• Support ad‑hoc tasks such as visual merchandising, store cleanliness and presentation.
• Escalate customer complaints to management when necessary.
• Complete mandatory training on product, policy and procedures.

Required profile

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality or a similar industry.
• Passion for sports fashion and familiarity with key brands.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and ability to work well within a team.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to engage with customers.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to flexible shift patterns, including weekends and holidays.
