Full Stack Engineer (Java, React, AWS)

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and help build and maintain a large web‑based application. The role involves collaborating with peers to design, develop, test and document software that meets end‑user requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Scope, design, develop, integrate and test software components using Java.
• Design and implement data storage models with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Develop front‑end features using HTML, CSS and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Coach junior developers or small teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Produce technical documentation, including UML diagrams.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship (required for NV1 defence clearance).
• Bachelor’s degree in systems/software engineering, computer science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
